The FlexPulse™ employs a carefully designed sequence of magnetic pulses programmed to introduce a magnetic ﬁeld into tissues, primarily those experiencing pain or in need of healing assistance.

Contraindications

DO NOT placing an active applicator over implanted electrical devices like pacemakers, cochlear implants, intrathecal pumps, etc., because the magnetic ﬁeld can shut the device off or otherwise interfere with its function.

PEMFs are contraindicated in organ transplant patients. This is because these people are on immune suppression medications to prevent organ rejection. There is a chance that PEMFs may actually stimulate or activate a more aggressive rejection process by stimulating the immune system.

Cautions

Safety of PEMFs has not been established in pregnancy, although there is no evidence of harm. Most manufacturers warn against the use of their device during pregnancy.

PEMFs should be used with caution in Grave’s disease or in the case of active bleeding.

Do not use high intensity PEMFs over breast implants. Given the risk of agitating the plastic or silicone in breast implants resulting in possible thinning and risk of leakage, high-frequency PEMFs beyond 100 Hz is probably also not desirable for treatment duration longer than an hour at a time.

How do I use the FlexPulse G2 PEMF?

What is this system most suited for?

This system is best used for localized PEMF application on almost any part of your body. It can also be used for it’s brainwave entrainment and mental wellness effects.

How long do I have to use it each day?

It is recommended to use the FlexPulse 1 to 2 times every day for 30 minutes or more per occasion.

Any sensation when I using FlexPulse?

You may feel a slight sensation in the areas of warming and tingling, but not as strong as TENS therapy delivers currents in the milliamp range causing muscle contraction, pulsing and tingling sensations.

Where do I place to these coils?

There’s no limit to where you could place them but here are some examples: lower back, knee, stomach, back of neck, foot, any joint or extremity. For ideas see below on coil placement.

PEMF therapy for animals with arthritis?

Should I use one or two coils?

You may choose to use one, or both coils simultaneously. Keep in mind that if you are using both coils simultaneously that the overall intensity of the system is being split between the two coils. To benefit from maximum intensity at single location, we advise using a single coil on the area being treated.

Can this device help ease headaches and migraines?

Several studies have found significant benefits from PEMFs for migraines, reducing the frequency and severity of them. PEMFs have both preventative and therapeutic values in the management of migraines.
