WHAT IS FRICTION TRAINING™

The reason training are so difficult is because they change the amount of friction that exists between your body and the ground, says Pete McCall, M.S., C.S.C.S., exercise physiologist. When you working on it, you have to really dig your foot or hand into them to control the movement and stop yourself from sliding all over the place.
"When you're pressing on a pad, you're essentially pushing force into ground (the board) and since the ground doesn’t move under you, it presses tension back up onto you," McCall explains. Your muscles—particularly in your shoulders and core—have to really engage to fight back against that force and keep your body stable.

What are the differences between FLOWIN SPORT and FLOWIN PRO?
The FLOWIN Friction Trainers come in two different types: FLOWIN PRO for professional use with a non-rollable design., using on a rigid plate, intended for daily high-frequency use (gyms, fitness centers, rehab institutions), and the more flexible, portable and rollable ease-to-store FLOWIN SPORT, for spontaneous, makeshift use.
How to keep the FLOWIN SPORT flat on the floor?
Since FLOWIN SPORT is rollable, if the board is curved at the ends, please reverse roll it (the backside out) around the paper tube, store it like this, use the board and keep reverse rolling it in storage until flat.
What accessories do you get with the FLOWIN SPORT?
Accessories include hand pad x 2, foot pad x 2, knee pad x 1, user manual and online link for workout videos. You will get additional workout videos at Inversion Fitness Equipment & Supplies YouTube channel.
The knee pad isn’t sliding – what do I do?
The FLOWIN board comes with 5 pads which are used under your hands, knees, feet, and elbows to achieve friction with the board. The largest pad is for knees and does not slide. This pad is simply for support for your knees or shoulders during some of the exercises.
How do I clean my board?
The FLOWIN Board is best cleaned using denatured alcohol, which you can find in most stores. Be sure not to use any household cleaner on the board or it may damage the surface. Always make sure the board is free from dust and dirt before starting your workout.
