How long does it take to assemble?
The Fit Form arrives 90% preassembled – the bulk of the remaining effort is attaching the platform pieces to the base frame. The free BILT app provides easy 3D guidance and it should take only about 15 min in total.
In the picture with dial shows numbers, what is that? Tension value?
Just like you would find on weight / cable machines at the gym, the numbers on the Resistance Display do not correlate to weight in pounds. The dial displays resistance levels ranging from 1-24. The higher the number, the more resistance is applied to the cable. At setting 24, the resistance is approximately 65 lb. So just like in the gym, you would note your setting during each exercise and then work to increase that setting for that particular exercise.
Does this fold up to tuck away between uses?
The support handle does fold down and the platform can be rotated onto its back to store within a 28.8” x 22.5” footprint. You can see the storage position in the last image provided in the product photo slide show.
What is the resistance/weight similar to?
Resistance training is never about a one-time lift at a heavy weight, but lifting that weight repeatedly. You will find that 65lb should well cover most exercises for most people who are looking for a simple resistance training set up for home.
