The first difference is the heat. The NIR-A Bulb emits a great heat that LED bulb will not get this hot. The second is the RubyLux LED Bulb emits visible spectrum 540nm wavelength of green light and the RubyLux NIR-A Bulb has an invisible 850nm wavelength near infrared light.
What is Green Light Therapy? Is It a Type of Laser Therapy?
No. Green light therapy is not the same as laser treatment. What is confusing is that many people refer to green light therapy as “low level laser therapy” or “cold laser”. This is a misnomer.
Both laser treatments and green light therapy (or other types of LLLT) use light. The difference is that laser light is “coherent”, meaning all its photons are synchronized. LED light is non-coherent. It does appear, though, that non-coherent light can have beneficial effects.
